Wavy shades of forest green live in Zuni artist Nelson Yatsattie's Bear sculpted from ricolite that hosts a lovely white inclusion from perhaps talc or calcite. Ricolite is a gorgeous mineral from the serpentine group known to polish to a beautiful luster as evidenced in this approximately 3 3/8" long, 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall friend. It's very smooth in hand and has a high finish. Clawed paws are etched while soulful eyes are from turquoise inlays.
