Magnificent whales undertake some of the longest migrations swimming thousands of miles in order to breed and find food. Cody Chavez's turquoise-eyed water creature has been carved from colorful surfite, a recycled material from surfboard manufacturing. An upright tail helps it swim diligently to new waters. Other nice details include incised throat grooves, blowhole and tail flukes. Whales are mammals just like we are. Many Indigenous cultures believe whales are relatives that live in the sea. About 1 7/8" long, 1/2" wide and 3/4" tall.
