Maiden Grandmother's lived wisdom and
Corn Maiden's soul-nourishing
Corn kernels are represented in a double-sided turquoise carving by Sandra Quandelacy. Maiden Grandmother wears a shawl and hair in traditional whorls signifying she hasn't had children but has been a mother figure along the way. Reassuring facial features are incised and filled with jet paste, while lovely red coral, malachite, lapis and jet cabochons decorate them. About 2" tall, 7/8" wide and 1/4" deep.
