In a badger family, a male is referred to as a boar, a female is a sow and a young badger is a cub. Badgers are part of the Mustelidae family which also includes wolverines, weasels, skunks and otters, among others. The late Andres Quandelacy's pipestone Badger is a fossorial creature with nice turquoise eyes. A carved turquoise point is flanked by jet and mother-of-pearl pieces in the offering bundle. About 2" long, 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall.
