Mountain lions create healthy ecosystems. Human mismanagement of the natural world is the greatest threat to their long-term survival. They can flourish if given sufficient protection from habitat destruction and overhunting. Melvin Sandoval has carved a pair of discriminating dolomite Mountain-lions (panther, puma or cougar) with long tails up and over the backsides, in old-style presentation. In nature, balancing tails are nearly one-third their entire length, incredible. Permanently mounted on a gorgeous point from slate, measurements are about 4 1/4" long, 2" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
