Crested Roadrunner

The swift roadrunner is New Mexico's state bird because of its association with the stunning landscape and Pueblo culture. The bird's likeness is worked into traditional designs of many Indigenous artists. Todd Lowsayatee's gorgeous Picasso marble feathered friend with a little crest has eyes from bright turquoise like the vast southwestern skies. We love the various incising treatments given to this approximately 2 7/8" long, 3/8" wide and 1 3/8" tall feathered friend's plumage.
