Corn-maiden fetish pendant is a darling size at roughly 2" long including silver bale, 1/2" deep and 7/8" wide. Zuni Pueblo tradition teaches that long ago Corn Maidens saved the People from famine and drought by nourishing them with sacred
corn kernels from their bodies. Facial features are etched and filled with jet paste, while a pretty red coral cabochon is set. The lovely silver snake chain is not included but is available and sold separately
