Roadrunners are tough customers even taking on Snakes. To add insult to injury, they'll line their nests with snakeskin too. Nelson Yatsattie carved a zippy roadrunner from a desert-hued Picasso marble. Focused eyes are from turquoise, while body, crest and tail feathers are cleanly etched. A wonderful feathered friend who measures about 4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Roadrunners are New Mexico's state bird.
