Miniature Hopi Parrot Katsina

Adrian Leon is an outstanding katsina carver who makes suprisingly small traditional dolls. Katsinas are various masked ancestral spirits who come during Hopi religious dances. His latest offering is a miniature Hopi Parrot Katsina who is wonderfully embellished with yucca spines, feathers, embroidery thread and cloth on a cottonwood body painted with energizing acrylic paints. Signed by the artist, this small woodwork including base is approximately 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" deep. Signed by the artist
