Miniature Hopi Black Ogre Katsina

Artist Adrian Leon creates traditional katsina dolls like this miniature Hopi Black Ogre Katsina who acts as a disciplinarian to unruly children. Adrian decorated with yucca spines, cloth, pipe cleaner, embroidery thread and feathers on a cottonwood body painted with colorful acrylic paints. Signed by the artist, this small woodwork including base is approximately 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" deep.
