Sweet Seahorse Pair

In Greek mythology Poseidon revered seahorses as sacred water beings. It was believed that when sailors drowned, seahorses guided them between the physical and spiritual world. Seahorses have an amazing ability to camouflage mimicking the color of underwater plants. Gentle and magical, they are actually fish with some species who mate for life. Terry Wilson's enchanted seahorse pairing is detailed with turquoise eyes, snouts, a coronet, dorsal fins and coiled tails. Carved from one portion of lovely serpentine, dimensions are approximately 2" tall, 1" wide and 3/4" deep.
