Two adorably intersecting
Turtles have been carved from one portion of angelite by Cody Chavez. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. An etched carapace is also inlaid with turquoise. Turtles have a rain association in Zuni where their shells are prized for making rattles used by the Rain Dancers. Measurements are approximately 2 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
