Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's gifted hands carved a delightful Corn-Maiden (or Maiden Grandmother) from turquoise. Hair is traditionally whorled. Red coral accents the corn body, while etched stars and a Dragonfly adorn. As a young girl, Kateri's first carving was a Corn Maiden. About 1 7/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" deep.
