Grandmother and Corn Mother by Sandra Quandelacy is a reversible carving from lapis lazuli twinkling with pyrite inclusions. Grandmother's shawl is covering her head, while the Mother is embellished with corn kernels inlaid with colorful stones like malachite, red coral and turquoise. Faces are from either overlaid mother-of-pearl or turquoise. About 2 1/4" tall, 1" wide and 1/2" deep.
