Brian Yatsattie's Medicine-Bear is sculpted from Jeep motor agate which is a by-product of the automobile painting process. Each sample is unique showcasing vivid colors some of which are metallic, all layered in fabulous patterns. He said that acquiring Jeep motor agate is difficult because it's rare and hard to find. Brian said he was the first to use Jeep motor agate, Fordite, surfite, bowlerite and funkite, introducing these upcycled materials to fellow Zuni carvers. We love the unique colors and formations found on each side of this roughly 2 3/4" long, 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall Bear with sweet eyes from jet inlays.
