Indigenous Coastal tribes revere reefs as sacred breathing entities with life force residing within the corals that must be protected. Cody Chavez's fish friend has horizontally layered hues such as red, blue, black, turquoise, green and yellow within the upcycled surfite specimen. In nature, the colors and patterns help break up the fish's shape enabling perfect camouflage among the reef. Surfite is a by-product from surfboard manufacturing. Turquoise inlaid eyes are on the lookout for a mate in the enchanted underwater ecosystem. About 1 7/8" long, 1/4" wide and 7/8" tall.
