Matt Lovato is from the late Mary C. Lovato family of award-winning Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo artists. His father is renowned jeweler Anthony Lovato. Two airy Butterflies flank a rich lapis lazuli cabochon in a fabulous tufa cast sterling silver cuff bracelet. Tufa casting is a labor-intensive process including the tricky aspect of visualizing a final product in reverse, as it's carved into the stone. The tufa molds can only be used once, as they are destroyed in the removal of the cooled silver piece so you know that Matt's bracelet is truly unique. The center setting is about 7/8" to 1 3/8" wide, while the cuff bracelet's entire inner circumference is roughly 6 1/4" which includes the opening of about 1 1/4". Signed by the artist.
