Jet is a mineraloid that took millions of years to form. Prehistoric wood became waterlogged then buried by oxygen-poor, organic-rich sediment eventually forming the jet we know and love today. Melvin Sandoval's beautifully sculpted bushytail (Fox, Wolf, or Coyote) is presented in well-polished jet to a dimension of about 3" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall.
