Resourceful Squirrel

Squirrels not only enjoy nuts and seeds but the occasional vole as they are opportunistic omnivores when nature calls. A recent abundance of voles in California created an adaptive response in squirrels. They are more than just forest dwellers, they are teachers of balance and resourcefulness. Abby Panteah's wonderful woodland squirrel has been smoothly contoured from Picasso marble. Observant eyes and a heartline or breath path are cleanly set from turquoise by Clayton Panteah. About 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 7/8" tall.
