A little Bobcat kitten is ready to play and pounce carved by Maxx Laate from golden amber, which is an ancient fossilized resin derived from extinct coniferous trees. The swirling creamy opaque areas are natural to the amber, perhaps mineral inclusions or trapped air bubbles that have aged and oxidized over time. Vibrissal follicles are etched and alert eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 1 1/2" long, 5/8" wide and 3/4" tall.
