Carved from colorful turquoise, this pen shell-eyed sweetie is approximately 2 1/4" tall, 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep. Paws are gorgeously inlaid with jet. A nice necklace is inlaid with red coral. Claudia descends from the greater George Cheechee Haloo family of Zuni artists. Her late uncle Miguel Haloo initiated the well-known standing bear style associated with this family. Her brother was artist Colvin Peina and her half-brothers Troy Sice and Gabriel Sice continue to produce incredible fetishes.
