Hedgehogs are small creatures related to shrews and moles but not closely related to porcupines. All species of hedgehogs can roll into a tight ball in self-defense, allowing their spines to point outwards protecting non-spiny areas. Robert Michael Weahkee's burnished antler crown hedgehog holds an etched heart for you. Cute eyes are from turquoise inlays, digging claws are etched, while paw pads and a precious nose are set with jet. Approximately 1 3/4" long, 1 5/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
