The Hopi People believe Katsinas bring harmony in nature, beneficial rainfall, good crops, fertility and successful hunting. They are various masked ancestral spirits who come during Hopi religious dances. Hopi Gray Wolf katsina doll has been carved by Adrian Leon. Details include feathers, toothpicks, a wooden bead, embroidery thread and pipe cleaner on a carved cottonwood body painted with colorful acrylic paints. A collectible and small woodwork that measures about 2 3/8" tall, 2" wide and 1" deep, measurements include the base. Signed by the artist.
