Stevan Natachu descends from the extended family of the late Leonard Halate, a prominent lineage of Zuni Pueblo artists. His parents, Pansy and Peter Natachu Sr., passed down their carving talents to both Stevan and his brother, Peter Natachu Jr., continuing the family’s artistic tradition.
