Rochelle Quam's tiny
Eagle (or
Hawk) is a unique piece of Mother Earth's history. Carved from rich amber, which is a hardened resin from ancient trees that fossilized over millennia, this turquoise-eyed little raptor is about 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 3/8" deep. Sometimes amber is called liquid sunshine, treated as a talisman of protection by cultures from times past.
