Zuni Sunface & Rainbird Pendant

A Zuni Sunface symbol from inlaid mother-of-pearl, pen shell, jet, turquoise and coral is suspended within a tear-drop shaped sterling silver pendant handmade by Sheryl and Strallie Edaakie. The Sunface symbol represents the elements of earth, sky and water in balance. An abstracted Zuni Rainbird with a jet eye and curved beak graces the side of this splendid work of wearable art. Its body is composed from stone to stone inlaid mother-of-pearl, jet, pen shell, malachite, perhaps sodalite or lapis, coral and orange spiny oyster shell. The light and airy pendant measures about 2 1/4" long including bale and 7/8" wide. Signed by the artists.
