Bears have important animal medicine in Zuni traditional ways but white bears have an extra element of healing. Maegan Shetima's bear (or polar bear) is an admirable fetish carved from a well-polished travertine onyx. Eyes are from turquoise inlays and little paws are etched for claws. A double point from marble and turquoise is layered along with a coral bead. About 2 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
