Elusive yet present,
Mountain-lions (pumas, panthers or cougars) guard their territories by setting up boundaries. Their example in nature or animal medicine teaches us that healthy boundaries allow us to define what is acceptable and appropriate behavior in relationships. Carved from a gorgeous marble that has deep hunter green hues, Douglas Martza's old-style feline is about 2 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and roughly 1 5/8" tall. Focused eyes are from turquoise inlays, while a little offering necklace contains an iridescent black lip shell point accompanied by red coral, spiny oyster shell and turquoise beads.
