Salvador Romero has brought by a fabulous Raven offering bowl measuring approximately 6 1/2" long, 2 1/8" wide and 3 3/4" tall. He carved a depression into the back of the bird to serve as a designated area to place intentions or offerings. The raven with drilled eyes is sculpted from a good-looking found stone from the lands at Cochiti Pueblo. Salvador has been carving for over 30 years. Originally he started as a painter studying traditional painting at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
