Zuni Grandmothers speak of the old-ways revealing a wonderful world of traditional stories and wisdom. Chad Quandelacy's reversible turquoise carving reminds us that spending more time with elderly relatives can teach you valuable life skills. Find out how they coped and what lessons were learned on their unique trail in life. Carved from turquoise with faces from lapis and mother-of-pearl, the reverse side displays a magnificent mosaic from coral, jet, spiny oyster shell, malachite and Pacific green snail shell. Etched Dragonflies and stars adorn as does an incised Corn cob. Including the lovely base from jet, dimensions in their entirety are about 2 1/4" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 7/8" deep.
