Boldly incised whiskers, inquisitive eyes from turquoise inlays, a triangular-shaped burnished nose and small offering necklace laced with a tiny bell and silver beads are impressive aspects of this approximately 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" deep domestic kitty cat from antler by Robert Michael Weahkee. He said "that I would like to describe my work as whimsical and fun. My favorite medium to carve is elk/deer shed antlers, mostly from Zuni. Spring time is when I get to walk around and look for them, but I also buy from community members."
