Gentle Bird

Chrysocolla is an exquisite mineral in the wonderful turquoise family. It is said to have calming and anti-anxiety properties. Gilbert Bowannie utilized this invigorating stone to carve a precious feathered friend to a size of approximately 2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall. Tail feathers are nicely etched and alert eyes are from jet in turquoise inlays. Bird watching is a soothing activity because observing our avian friends as they go about their daily lives can be comforting.
