Denim Lapis Roadrunner

Enchanting roadrunners have long tails for steering and balance while running up to about 15 mph. Dwelling in arid desert country, they get most of the water they need from the food they eat. A special nasal gland helps them excrete excess salt reducing the need to drink fresh water. Bryston Bowannie's wonderful roadrunner is sculpted from denim lapis beloved for its resemblance to faded denim. With much to say, this approximately 2 3/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall feathered friend has nice eyes from turquoise inlays.
