Todd Lowsayatee descends from the greater Hustito and Lowsayatee family of noted Zuni artists. His brother is carver Marlon Lowsayatee. Todd is a master when it comes to carving in antler. His birds reveal complex plumage as seen in a crested roadrunner with turquoise inlaid eyes and sweeping tail feathers. The lovely perched desert bird is sculpted from one portion of antler including burr inlaid with colorful red coral and turquoise accents, a thoughtful touch. Dimensions in their entirety are approximately 3 3/4" long, 2" wide and 2 1/2" tall.
