Chasing Star Hopi Katsina

Alvin Leon's small-scale Chasing Star Hopi katsina doll is about 5" tall, 2" wide and 2" deep, measurements include base. This wonderful katsina is all hand-carved from cottonwood and hand-painted with vibrant acrylic paints. Alvin added ribbon, feathers, cotton thread, pipe cleaner and yucca twig details to this fine and colorful woodwork. The Chasing Star katsina is sometimes referred to as the Planet or Meteor katsina associated with the planetary doings. Signed by the artist.
