Noah Pajarito's gorgeous tufa cast sterling silver
Turtle pin/pendant is an easy to wear treasure.
Tufa stone is a compressed volcanic ash material. It is easier to carve than sandstone but because it is softer the cast created is a one off creating one of a kind silver works. Noah embellished this water creature with an image of the sun, mesas, a pueblo and corn field. On the back we see pueblo inspired designs and Noah's signature, the date he made it and more corn fields. About 2 1/4" long and 1 3/4" wide, slightly convex with a versatile shepherd's hook type bale. We love this turtle's little curled tail!
