Daryl Shack Sr.'s etched sandstone Bear appears to be telling the Zuni Emergence story, as can be seen by the A:Shiwi (The People) climbing up to the Fourth World, being greeted by Father Sun. A sun dagger and footprint elements are also seen. The bear's facial expression is one of awe or amazement, as if it is just hearing these stories for the first time, or seeing them happen before its eyes. Dimensions of this cultured opal-eyed bear are approximately 3" long, 1 3/4" wide and 3 1/4" tall.
