Frogs are said to date back more than 200 million years in the fossil record. They are one of Mother Earth’s most visually stunning life forms. Rising global temperatures, habitat loss and pathogens have set in motion the fast decline of many frog populations. We can do our part in helping frogs. They have very sensitive skin that absorbs pollutants from the water and the air. Steering clear of pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in our gardens and properties benefits them. Carved frogs are regarded as rain-bringing for the A:Shiwi (The People). Kenric Laiwakete's wonderful amphibian has been sculpted from chrysocolla and has cute eyes from apple coral inlays. Hopping in at approximately 2 1/8" long, 1 7/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
