Way before dinosaurs walked the Earth, Michigan was located close to the equator. The area had a tropical climate covered by a shallow, warm saltwater ocean which was home to an assortment of marine life including six-sided corallites now known as fossilized Petoskey stones. Carved from a gorgeous Petoskey specimen, Daryl Shack, Sr.'s reversible Bear pendant is full of wonder and geological history. Eyes are from cultured opal inlays adding a touch of sparkle to this approximately 2" long, 1 5/8" wide and 3/8" deep friend. Measurements include the bale that has a turquoise bead and a nice faceted mystery one. The black cord is not included.
