Badger kicks dirt outside its burrow. Much like their skunk cousins, badgers produce an unpleasant musky spray to deter predators. They also excavate with incredible speed to escape underground. Carved from indigenous Zuni travertine, many etching marks create fur markings. Pen shell eyes speak of a steadfast spirit. An orange spiny oyster shell and abalone point with turquoise bead offering bundle is attached to this roughly 4 1/4" long, 2" wide and 1 1/2" tall wonderful fetish.
