Douglas Martza's sweetly-spirited standing Bear has been carved from onyx. Eyes are from inlaid turquoise. Bears will sometimes stand upright to get a better view or to smell the air, among other reasons. A bear in this position is considered a sign of strength and healing in the Zuni way. A lovely mother-of-pearl point offering necklace thanks a bear for all its incredible qualities in nature. Approximately 2 5/8" tall, 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
