Squirrel Arborist

Running and leaping from tree limb to tree limb, squirrels are a joy to watch. Many Indigenous cultures view the squirrel as a resourceful creature who prepares for the future. When these delightful woodland animals stash their seeds, some seeds grow thereby regenerating forests. Lauded artist Ray Tsalate's burnished antler squirrel pauses for a moment's rest. Precious eyes and a wee nose are from pen shell inlays. A small 1 1/2" tall, 1" wide and 1 3/4" long, dimensions are approximate.
