The rainforest's largest and most powerful raptor is a harpy Eagle. In fact, it is one of the largest eagle species on the planet. Enormous bear-sized talons give them extraordinary capabilities. Roughly 6 1/2 feet wide wings also contribute to their sovereignty. A magnificent crest, plumage and feathered perch are thanks to Hudson Sandy's meticulous and careful approach to detail in his animal carvings. Visioned eyes are from jet and turquoise inlays, while an offering necklace is set with coral and turquoise beads. About 2 5/8" tall, 1 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep, masterfully presented in Picasso marble. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
