Joel Pajarito is an accomplished jeweler hailing from the late Mary C. Lovato family of Kewa Pueblo artists. Mary herself passed down traditional jewelry arts to Joel. His father is celebrated jeweler Anthony Lovato who is an avid horseman. Inspired by the Horses at his Kewa Pueblo home, Joel's handsome tufa cast sterling silver bolo tie forms a powerful Pueblo Maiden. The bolo-tie is a work of art you can wear on your body. His exquisite craftsmanship of the piece is evident in every detail. Design elements include a magnificent horse, stone to stone inlays set with Royston turquoise and red coral, plus rich fossilized ivory. A lovely 14K gold spiral accent is like the rising sun over Kewa country. The adjustable Maiden station itself is about 3 3/4" long and 2" wide. It is approximately 48" long including the gorgeous handmade sterling silver tips. The high-quality braided leather is extra thick. Signed by the artist along with ripe corn motifs.
