Lynn Quam's Bison is a beauty carved from a gorgeous septarian nodule with a nice portion consisting of crystallized calcite. Often geologist interchange the word concretion in place of nodule, a word that in Latin carries the meaning of growing together. The term refers to the development of the septarian stone but in combination with a buffalo's animal medicine, it can be a wonderful reminder of our ability to grow by supporting one another and sharing in our abundance, whatever form that it may take. The smoothly sculpted bovine with turquoise eyes and horns measures approximately 3" long, 1" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
