Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's mother was Georgia Quandelacy (d). Grandmother Ellen Quandelacy (d) taught all her children the art of fetish carving, as she was taught by her father Johnny Quam (d). Kateri's reversible Kingman turquoise fetish hosts a wise Grandmother with carved corn cobs from lapis, jet, pipestone, sugilite, gold lip shell and turquoise, while the other side has two wonderful Corn Maidens etched with Corn kernels. Facial features are carved and darkened with jet paste. About 2" tall, 2 1/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep.
