Pottery Heart Pendant Necklace

Long recognized as a symbol of love and affection, heart shapes were used in art by ancient cultures. In our day, they are just as meaningful. Zuni potter Noreen Simplicio's stunning ceramic clay and paints heart is securely encased into a sterling silver pendant made by Davis Coonsis, in a lovely collaborative effort. The pendant including bale is about 1 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. It's removable from the nice silver chain that's approximately 26" long. This is a gorgeous 2-piece set that would make a wonderful gift.
