Orthoceras were jet-propelled hunters dining on trilobites and tiny plankton among other eats. Their gorgeous fossils have been found the world over and have been discovered in sites containing thousands of specimens leading some to believe they were involved in mass spawning events. Kenric Laiwakete enjoys carving these stunning fossils into beloved animals like Coyotes, Foxes and Wolves. One side displays a gorgeous orthoceras fossil while the reverse has an inlaid alternating heartline or breath path from turquoise. Eyes from turquoise inlays pay attention to everything. Approximately 5 1/8" long, 5/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
