Ronnie Lunasee descends from the greater Lunasee, Tsethlikai and Chavez family of noted Zuni Pueblo artists. The Lunasee and Tsethlikai families are related to the Quandelacy's. Ronnie and his brother Vernon Lunasee started carving in the mid-1980's. Their cousin is carver Fabian Tsethlikai. In the distance, Ronnie's turquoise-eyed Mountain-lion (puma, panther, leopard or cougar) sees a rock formation surrounded by thick vegetation which will be the perfect haven for autumn's cold, rainy night ahead. Carved from a deep mossy green-hued serpentine, this wise feline is about 3 1/4" long, 5/8" wide and 1" tall.
