We're happy to welcome Marilyn Allapowa to Keshi's website with a lovely gowned lady pin cushion. The earliest pin cushions date back possibly to the 16th century. They were often constructed from materials like velvet, silk or a stuffed fabric. Marilyn's approximately 4 1/4" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" deep pin cushion is handmade from rich red velvet and colorful glass seed beads, some of which appear to be iridescent.
